Today you will explore Barranco, Lima's most enchanting bohemian neighbourhood, beloved by renowned musicians, poets, writers, painters, and sculptors, especially during the 20th century. This tour will guide you through its charming streets, historic homes, notable squares, the museum dedicated to the famous street artist Jade Rivera, the Pedro de Osma Museum.  Your tour will finish at Dédalo - a concept store of Peruvian modern craft, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and explore samples of Peruvian modern art.

On this day, you will visit the most outstanding sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. After meeting your guide and boarding a comfortable private transport, our first stop will be in the town of Chinchero, known for its Inca archaeological site and colonial Church. You'll also have the chance to learn about traditional Inca techniques for dyeing and spinning Alpaca wool from local women weavers.

Next, visit Moray, an intriguing Inca archaeological complex with concentric terraces that served as an agricultural laboratory.

Continue to Maras to see the ancient salt mines, still in operation, offering a striking photo opportunity with their white wells against the clayey landscape.

Enjoy lunch at a typical restaurant or we can arrange your lunch in restaurant MIL by  Best Chef in the World Virgilio Martinez.

Conclude your tour at Ollantaytambo, an essential Inca site known for its military, religious, and agricultural importance. Visit the Temple of the Ten windows, the ñusta's baths, the Temple of the Sun, and other key points of interest. The breathtaking views from Ollantaytambo will be the perfect end to your day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Then you return to your hotel.

The next day, after the breakfast, you leave Sacred Valley and continue your journey to the city in the clouds! Before heading to Machu Picchu, you will receive specific instructions regarding luggage and items permitted at the site.

Arrival in Machu Picchu & Exploring City In The Clouds

After arriving, you'll check into your hotel and enjoy a leisurely day in Aguas Calientes.

You will have one day to discover Machu Picchu, but if you're up for a deeper adventure, there's another option. 

 

The next day, after breakfast, you, along with your guide, will take a bus to ascend to the cloud city of Machu Picchu. Today, you will explore Machu Picchu for approximately 3 hours with a guide, following a route that allows you to tour both the upper and lower parts of the archaeological site, including the upper and lower religious areas. Of course, it also includes the main constructions of the Inca citadel. Upon completing your tour, you will return to the town of Aguas Calientes. After checking out of the hotel, you will then return to the Sacred Valley.

Upon completing your exploration of Machu Picchu, you will return to the Sacred Valley by train, where you will pick up your luggage and move to Cuzco!
